TKCU is a three-day faith based University Model program serving children grades K-9 in downtown McKinney.

Our University Model is a partnership between parents and teachers to provide an education and discipleship for our students. At TKCU it is our goal to create confident learners. We start with the heart, focusing on the spiritual, social- emotional, academic needs of each child we serve.

We cover the core subjects (Math, Language Arts, Science, and History) Tuesday- Thursday. Homework and projects are assigned on “Home Days” (Monday and Friday). All parents have the option of completing this work at home OR parents may register for our Study Lab. This is a unique opportunity where kids can come to school to complete their assignments/projects with the assistance of their teachers.

In order to serve our students best, we keep our classes small to focus on each child's development and success.  Children are divided into groups based on their academic level with no more than 10 students in each group.
